It's Been A While...

With our last post dating back to the distant but great year 2016 was, you could say it has been a while since we last featured the stories of the women we admire, the recipes we can’t get enough of, and everything in between.

Since our last post, however, many exciting things have and continue to happen, which we are very excited to share. From travelling abroad to Turkey, Venice, and Beijing in search of inspiration for our upcoming collections while also scouting potential areas of production and building our brand to creating memorable collaborations with brands we love, we’ve definitely been busy but blessed every step of the way.

We have had amazing opportunities to work with clients such as Hero Beach Club, the newest boutique hotel addition to Montauk, create a custom product line for AERIN in the Southampton store, partner and collaborate with brands such as Sarah Flint, creating unique tablescapes for the Catskills nuptials of Amanda’s close friend and Harper’s Bazaar editor Olivia Fleming,  a forthcoming holiday collection with Free People, and having a special new product in the works that we hope will inspire all of you to live in your own best, shining light.

In addition to the amazing growth of our business, we are extremely excited to share that our team has grown as well. From Amanda and Billur at the helm and myself as their intern, The Setting now has two new exceptional additions and a new position for myself: Andrea, a jack of all trades with her feet in both product management and social content, Namrata, our product management guru who is already playing an integral part in helping us expand our product lines to stores both domestically and abroad, and my role from intern to Digital Content Editor, managing our social channels and overseeing the return to our roots, while writing and editing stories that tie us together as modern women.

With 2017 having already been an amazing year for us thus far, we know it’s only up from here. With an impending office expansion, adding even more power players to our team, a new collaboration with our friends at Azione PR curating custom moments and special events for their clients and of course the re-launching of our Journal, which will be a vehicle in sharing not only our journey with you but the stories of and for the modern woman we believe you will all enjoy.

We are excited for the future and can’t wait to see what’s in store for not only us but for all of those who have been right alongside us for this journey.
